Less expensive à la carte option

TLDR: Approximately half priced transcription with no transcription review or logbook creation/merging.

At ConvertMyLogbook we are looking to provide a more reduced price option for interested pilots. Our standard service is turn-key: send us your logbook pictures and we send you a finished electronic logbook, merged with your current electronic logbook. This process includes a review of the logbook photos, initial transcription, transcription review, and building/merging the electronic logbook file. As one would expect, the initial transcription is a labor intensive process. Surprisingly, so is the transcription review. This is where we review logbook discrepancies such as night time being greater than total time, an aircraft logged as AMEL when it’s usually ASEL, etc. We also review entries that were difficult to read or understand during the initial transcription.

The reduced price option would include the initial transcription, a quick error check of the final numbers, making sure they match the paper logbook, but no transcription review. Instead you would receive the file as we do, in an Excel format with discrepancies and unclear entries ready for you to correct and use how you wish.

Our initial pricing for this service will be our standard $58 base fee plus $0.15 per line instead of $0.28 per line.
