Bad photos are our number one reason for delays in finishing logbooks and small mistakes in the transcription, such as incorrect dates and routes. This post shows some examples of poorly taken photos. To remedy these problems, refer to ourĀ guide on photographing your logbook.
Cropped page
Dates, Types, and some of the Identifier columns are cropped out of view.
Dim lighting
The camera can't capture the same level as detail as when it's bright.
Blurry photo
The photo being out of focus combined with the dark setting makes the page completely unreadable.
Separate pages
Having the left and right pages separate makes it more likely that the pages get misaligned or out of order.
